Jordan Coleman has nearly 20 years of experience leading clinical and medical practice operations in the primary and multispecialty care settings across the private, public, and military sectors. He brings strong subject-matter expertise in value-based care delivery from his tenure in senior operations roles at Iora Health, CareMore (now Carelon), and the Dept. of Veterans Affairs. Jordan is also an active member of the Nevada Army National Guard (NVARNG), where he serves as the senior most medic in the state and as the First Sergeant for the state’s only Medical Detachment that oversees the medical readiness of several thousand guardsmen and women.
He led the development of policies and procedures for the launch of VA Southern Nevada’s GI lab & special procedures unit and led numerous other projects to improve performance within the VA’s call center, its outpatient clinics, and across its hospital system. At Iora Health and Carelon, he oversaw a wide array of practice and health plan functions, including enrollment, marketing, contracting, STARS/clinical performance, and clinical operations, among other areas. During his time with the National Guard, he served as a combat medic during a deployment in Afghanistan and has led medical operations for worldwide training exercises, in addition to serving as the senior medical operations leader during the state’s COVID-19 pandemic response. He earned his Lean & Six Sigma green belt from the VA’s Center for Applied Systems Engineering (VA-CASE) & holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in public administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV).
